Coconut Properties was formed by three partners, each bringing a unique expertise and perspective to the business. Adam Zeidel, a land use attorney and former head of acquisitions for one New York City’s most active development companies, finds opportunities by studying public policy, zoning maps, and pounding the pavement. Often partnering with longtime owners, Adam seeks to identify and create projects that benefit both the landowner and the local community. Seeking out opportunities to incorporate important policy objectives, such as Passive House design in 100% affordable housing buildings, Adam works to tailor land use solutions to a particular project and tap public and private resources in achieving those goals.
